Calling all ABAP Developers! 📢
As SAP celebrate its 50 year anniversary we invite you to join us by creating a fun video to let us know what you love the most about ABAP! It’s very simple! So be part of it and tell us what you love about ABAP!
Send us a short self-recorded video (30s max) on ‘What do you love about ABAP’ by August 12th 2022.
Together with you we would like to travel in time.
Your submissions will be part of a short video about the history of ABAP in context of the past 50 years of SAP and how ABAP changed our lives as developers.
The goal of the video is to focus on the impact ABAP had for us as individuals and show the advantages for the new developer generation to get started.
The final video will be promoted and shared in the SAP Community and via our social channels on LinkedIn and Twitter.

Format:
- Midway up and centered (Example above). Landscape mode suggested, but any format is good. Use your smartphone. Record at a standard HD resolution (1920 x 1080 px)
- The sun is one of the best light sources for video. If you’re filming in natural light, make sure the video light is not to harsh
- Use a clean background that does not contain any distractions
- Avoid Shaky Footage. Set your camera on a sturdy surface, or use a tripod 🎥😊
Deadline:
Best to have it as early as possible, but deadline would be August 12th 2022.
To ensure, we are allowed to show your video, please fill out the consent form and send it to sapcommunity@sap.com
In case you are not able to download the consent form via the provided link, please send us an email to sapcommunity@sap.com, we will send you the consent form directly via email.
After we received the email with the consent form we will provide you a link to upload the video to our Sharepoint.
