Usage
To launch Guided Answer Extension within VSCode or SBAS

1. Use Command Palette -> CMD/CTRL + Shift + P
2. Type command -> SAP: Open Guided Answers

Step1: Open any of your Dev Space.

Step2: Open command palette as Shown below.

Step3: Type Guided Answers  in Input box ,click on it to open.

 

Step4: You can search for any issues. For example i entered “SAP Business Application Studio Troubleshooting”

 

Then you can choose specific help.For example , if you have trouble deploying your application then you can choose “MTAR Deployment Fails”.

SAP Business Application Studio Dev Space Troubleshooting

Problem

 > SAP Business Application studio Dev Spaces are not starting.
 > Dev Space is starting and however SAP Business App Studio is stuck on the loading animation.

 

Solution

If your dev space is taking too long to start, how to resolve Dev Space Issues ?

You may try below options.

Option #1) You would like to continue to use Existing Dev Space.

  1. Try to Open SAP Business Application Studio ,close all browser windows then open new incognito browser / Private Window. Then try to restart dev space.
  2. If still not working  ,Click on Logout & Login Again.

     3. If still not working ,Please try to open the dev-tools (f12) and clear the local storage, session storage , db & cache.
     4. If still not working , then Open an Expert Chat to send the ID of the problematic dev space (ws-id) to dev support. .

Option #2) You can start new dev space

  1. Start a new dev space.
  2. Use Git to import your previews projects to your new dev space. For more information, see Cloning Repositories.
