The Field “Source partner function” is a Partner Function which serves as an alternative source for partner determination. If you don’t want the system to propose a partner from the sold-to party BP master record, enter another partner function in the Field “Source partner function”. The system will then propose the partner function from the BP master record of “Source partner function”.

Example

If the end user enters WE (SH ship-to party) in this field for the function VE (SE sales employee), when you create the sales document, it determines the Sales Employee partner function from the ship-to party’s BP master document.

Note

• The partner determination for the Field “Source partner function” will be triggered only after the Partner determination from the Sold-to Party (e.g. entering or changing Sold-to Party in Sales documents ).
• If the Partner of Source partner function is manually changed in the Sales documents, the partner determination for the Field “Source partner function” will not be triggered.
