Greetings and salutations my friends and colleagues. Happy New Year 2022. Cheers to health, happiness, and a more sustainable future for our families and loved ones.

If you had the opportunity to be back in the office last week from holiday break, you most likely caught some of the Board level and SAP SE communications around our new launch of SAP Cloud for Sustainable Enterprises. I sure did. And it was awesome. Sustainability, Cloud, Climate Action, Circular Economy, Social Responsibility, are all terms I speak a few hundred times a day, and cannot seem to get enough of the topic.

Our SAP message, Eco nomics: Bringing profit and planet together. There has always been a demand for global business to act and run sustainably. But now it has become law in some countries and at the top mind for every C Level executive across the globe. And SAP has been in lock step with these global changes and initiatives from the very beginning almost a decade ago. In this blog post I simply will provide a list with links to all of last week’s communications around the SAP for Sustainability products and the board level communications around our own commitment and the long road ahead. They are all great reads, take some time to learn more about what we are doing as a company, our sustainability product offering, and our road ahead.

Just a short while ago, we launched several openSAP Courses for SAP for Sustainability as an exciting new learning opportunity. What began with a small batch of videos, has now become a very hot topic with more than 13 courses that have generated over thousands of views since then. We cover multiple and key technology topics like Circular Economy, Climate Action, Social Responsibility, and Holistic Steering & Reporting. We are continuously adding new courses and even shorter microlearnings to the openSAP platform, be sure you check them out.
