This blog post introduces you to the recently published SuccessFactors Implementation Design Principle (SFIDP) document: SAP SuccessFactors Learning: Setting up an Open Content Network Provider. Implementation Design Principle documents are owned and managed by SAP SuccessFactors Product Management who engage and collaborate with select, interested partners along with SAP Professional Service to tap the rich implementation experience that is distilled in the document after a formalized product review process before wider publication.

This document SAP SuccessFactors Learning: Setting up an Open Content Network Provider has valuable contribution from SAP SuccessFactors partners towards authoring and include Janine Zeh from ORBIS People, Karen Perez and Paul Nolan from SAP SE while Sany Said and Nick Rouvas from SAP SE helped in reviewing it.

Open Content Network (OCN) is a group of Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) partners who provide content to SAP SuccessFactors Learning. SAP SuccessFactors Learning created the Open Content Network (OCN) framework to partner with Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) providers. Any Partner Edge partner can leverage the resources to build and deliver these learning courses to mutual customers at minimal cost and development efforts using a single implementation framework and a common set of APIs. The primary audience for this document is OCN partners and their implementation partners. Customers may also use this document to understand how different components in SAP SuccessFactors Learning are used to deliver courses hosted by different Open Content Network vendors in their landscape
