SAP User Experience will be present at the upcoming virtual SAP Global Partner Summit, the most important partner event of the year. Taking place on May 26th, the summit includes a “primetime show” featuring industry experts, SAP leaders, and partners covering partner-specific opportunities and information to address today’s most pressing business issues. Furthermore, there are six “breakout tracks” for you to dive deeper into key topics with information and enablement sessions.

What does SAP User Experience have on offer?

A best-in-class user experience (UX) is one of the key success factors for realizing SAP’s intelligent enterprise strategy. We want to give you a quick preview of our six user experience breakout sessions, included in the Products and Solutions track, and hosted by various members of SAP User Experience.

  • The Future of UX in the Intelligent Enterprise (Benedikt Lehnert):
This session focuses on the new direction of user experience at SAP. The definition of work has changed over the past decades and this has been drastically accelerated by the pandemic. So how will we meet the user needs of tomorrow? We believe the future of enterprise UX lies in empowering people to optimize time to business outcome. We envision the intelligent enterprise as a people-centric system that adapts to the business needs humans have by providing contextually relevant insights and allowing for its users to make informed decisions in real-time, anywhere.
  • SAP Fiori Update (Thomas Reiss):
This talk gives you an update on our SAP Fiori journey, including a demo of the SAP Fiori launchpad spaces and pages and their new visualization options and an overview of how SAP Fiori helps you put intelligence into your user experience.
  • SAP Fiori Rapid Activation and SAP Fiori Launchpad Content Manager (Kattia Jordan-Philip): This session covers rapid SAP Fiori activation, the content manager of SAP Fiori launchpad and Spaces and Pages. The first two substantially speed up the activation and adjustment of SAP Fiori launchpad content. Spaces and Pages offer new ways of structuring home pages.
  • Easily Adapt SAP Fiori Apps with SAPUI5 (Oliver Graeff):
Using standard enterprise apps is an efficient way to provide a great user experience. SAPUI5 flexibility offers capabilities to extend those apps, not only for developers but also for key users and end users. Using a simple drag & drop tool, a key user can tailor an app for many end users. Learn about these capabilities, including the “UI5 flexibility for key users” service targeting partner solutions on SAP BTP.
  • Build Stable SAP Fiori Apps at Scale – Using SAP Fiori Elements and SAP Fiori Tools (Peter Spielvogel and Stefanie Hager):
SAP Fiori elements and SAP Fiori tools boost developer productivity, drive UX consistency, and let you deliver enterprise apps with lower development and maintenance costs and higher margins. We’ll focus on introducing the products and show how to qualify deals where you can use them to drive UX transformation.
  • Responsible Design – Ethical Aspects of SAP User Experience (Guido Wagner):
Learn about “Responsible Design” and why it is relevant in times of growing AI usage. Get some ideas how ethical behavior of systems could be achieved – having the goal to ensure the users trust in business software.
