There are endless number of use cases for SAP Analytics Cloud Planning ranging from HR headcount planning, sales planning and P&L planning, you name it. I suggest one more –  Predictive Cash Forecast.

Cash Forecast is important for every company to provide constant cash flow to run the business. The best way to approach this task is to load S/4HANA AR invoices history into SAC planning model and run predictive forecast.

In my example, 2 years of AR invoices history information is loaded to SAC on company code, customer (top 10 customers and the rest are combined into Other to improve forecast quality) and due date level of granularity. Based on 2015 and 2016 history, 01.2017 to 04.2017 Cash Forecast is predicted.
