In this blog post, we will discuss, how to enable the drop down option in BI- Launchpad after upgrading BOBJ 4.3 SP03 PL 200 to 300.

After upgrading BOBJ 4.3 SPS3 PL 200 to 300, we are facing BI-Launchpad authentication issue.

When logging in BI launch pad, there is no drop-down option available to select the Authentication mode.

Solution:

Go to C:Program Files (x86)SAP BusinessObjectsTomcatwebappsBOEWEB-INFconfigdefault.

Open Fiori BI file with notepad.

Copy this file Fiori BI file from default directory and past it in the custom directory.

Custom directory:  C:Program Files (x86)SAP BusinessObjectstomcatwebappsBOEWEB-INFconfigcustom.

Open FioriBI file and change below values.

authentication.visible=false to authentication.visible=true.

Save the file and Copy this file in C:Program Files (x86)SAP BusinessObjectsSAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0warfileswebappsBOEWEB-INFconfig.

Now go to Central  configuration Manager and restart the Tomcat.

NOTE: From SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.3 onwards BILaunchpad.properties file is replaced by FioriBI.properties file. That is from 4.3 onwards above changes to be done in FioriBI.properties file.

Now try to login BI-Launchpad

http://<hostname>:8080/BOE/BI

Now able to see the Authentication Drop down options.
